Overview

Based in Hamilton having had a long but not exclusive association with the University of Waikato, Unicol has a rich history in both Men's and Women's Northern League Football.

Our club mission is to deliver on field success, whilst fostering a club spirit that ensures Unicol is the club of choice for aspiring footballers in the region.

Men's Teams

In 2018 Unicol had 7 men's team. The Premiers in Federation League Premiership and the Reserves in the Championship, as well as teams entered into Waikato Divisions, A, B, C, D and the Sunday

Women's Teams

In 2017 Unicol had one women's teams, in the Waikato Women's B Division.

Training

Trainings are on the University fields under lights, parking in Gate 3a or 3b off Silverdale Rd, near Don Llewellyns. Training will generally be week days from 6pm.

Home Grounds

Unicol's host games at The University of Waikato and Jansen Park. There are currently one football pitch at the University and Three at Jansen Park.  In 2019 our Men's Premier, Reserves and Development squads will play at Jansen Park

Currently after-match meals are held at the Ruakura Campus Club.

Fundraising

Unicol runs off of funds sourced through grants, player subs and fundraisers. There is the opportunity for everyone in the club to be involved in fundraising events.

Social Functions

Every year the club has a number of social gatherings throughout the season such as quiz nights, poker nights and the annual Unicol Prizegiving.
